Inclement weather conditions canceled the second round of the 35th annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at The University of Texas Golf Club on Tuesday. The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes with the final 18-hole round set to begin Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. ET with a shotgun start.
The fifth-ranked University of Florida women's golf team sits in second place following its 17-over 305 on Monday. The Lady Gators are just two shots back of New Mexico (+15) heading into Wednesday's final round.
Redshirt junior Ornella Jouven (La Ciotat, France) is the clubhouse leader after firing an even-par 72 in the first round. Jouven, who holds a one stroke lead on New Mexico's Alexandra Phelps, will attempt to capture the first individual medal of her career.
