Men's Tennis Earns First-Round Bye In SEC Tournament

The seeds for the Southeastern Conference Men's Tennis Tournament were announced late Saturday night by the league office.
The Gators finished the regular season with an 8-3 league mark to receive the No. 4 seed and a one of four first-round byes. Florida will play the winner of the match between No. 5 Alabama and No. 12 South Carolina at 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday, April 18, in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Gators (13-6 overall) have advanced to the semifinals of the event five-straight years and 11 times in the history of the program. Florida is 23-13 all-time in the tournament and won championships in 1994, 2000 and 2005.
