Yadloczky, Team USA Wins at Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship

Rising sophomore Jessica Yadloczky (Casselberry, Fla.) won her third and final match at the Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship on Friday at the Tokyo Golf Club. Team USA dominated the final round – claiming 18 of 24 points- to defeat Japan 37-23.
Yadloczky birdied her first hole before racing out to a nine-shot victory (71-80) over Japan's Nanae Shinzato. Three of the four women competing on behalf of team USA recorded victories. UCLA's Sydnee Michaels fell to Hiroko Ayada, but was named the tournament's women's MVP.
Only four of the 12 golfers participating for Team USA were able to record victories in each round of the tournament. Joining Yadloczky were Auburn's Cydnee Clanton, UNC's Kevin O'Connell and Chris Wolfe of Armstrong Atlantic State.
Team USA won eight and halved two of the day's 12 matches to seal the tournament victory. The United States now hold a 24-9 lead in the all-time series.
