Men's Tennis Concludes Play At Southern Intercollegiate

The University of Florida men's tennis team concluded play at the 2008 Southern Intercollegiate in Athens, Ga., Sunday.
Florida's Johnny Hamuii picked up another win Sunday with a 7-6 (3), 6-3 showing against Tennessee Tech's Dean O'Brien in the Division I singles consolation draw.
On the weekend, UF had several strong showings. Newcomer Joey Burkhardt advanced to the quarterfinals of the Division I singles draw. He also teamed with Carlos Cueto in to make it to the quarterfinals of the Division I doubles quarterfinals.
Florida's fall season continues at the ITA All-American, which will be held in Tulsa, Okla., from Oct. 9-Oct. 12.
