Rutgers Swim Classic to be Streamed Live Online

Gator fans will be able to watch thirteen Lady Gator swimmers compete in the Rutgers' 2009 Swimming World's College Conference Carnival live online when they compete with swimmers and divers from North Carolina, Richmond and Rutgers beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Piscataway, N.J., by visiting Swimming World Magazine online.
Each squad competing at the invitational includes a maximum of 11 swimmers and two divers. Members will compete in 12 swimming events and two diving events in an "A-Finals Only" format. The 6th-ranked Lady Gators will face stiff competition from 14th-ranked North Carolina, defending Atlantic 10 champions Richmond, and host, Rutgers.
Florida sends six freshman swimmers to the competition—Lindsay Rogers, Teresa Crippen, Carly Pike, Lily Ramirez, Sarah Bateman, and Shara Stafford. In addition, junior Elizabeth Kemp, junior Stephanie Proud, sophomore Julianne Lago, junior Stephanie Napier and junior Gemma Spofforth will swim for the Gators. Diving for the Lady Gators are two seniors—Jeana Bartell and Whitney Stern.
