Ticket Office Announces Latest Enhancement, "Ticket Forwarding" For Selected Sports
Friday, January 30, 2009 | General
Hello Gator Fans,
We are reaching out to you today to announce the latest enhancement to our online ticketing system. We realize that it may be difficult at times to attend all of our Gators athletic events, particularly if you are a season ticket owner. With this latest enhancement that we are unveiling today, it is now possible to forward your game tickets to another person so they may attend a game in your place.
"Ticket Forwarding" will allow any fan the opportunity to send their tickets to someone else all from the comfort of their own home, with just a few clicks of your mouse, and is available for men's and women's basketball, baseball and gymnastics. That's right… you can now email your tickets to a friend for their use at any time.
Please read the below guidelines to learn about this fabulous enhancement we are now proudly offering.

EMAIL YOUR TICKETS
Now you can send your tickets to virtually anyone via ticket forwarding. This service allows you to email tickets to friends, family or clients when you can't attend a game. Simply log in to your personal account and select the Get Started button in the Manage my Tickets box. Choose the ticket or group of tickets you wish to send, click "Forward" and follow the steps needed to send the tickets. It's so easy – you don't even need to have the tickets in hand. Avoid the hassles of overnight and in-person delivery and start enjoying the benefits of this new service.
HOW IT WORKS
Each of your season tickets carries a unique barcode, ensuring that they are authentic. During the forwarding
process, the barcode on your original season ticket is cancelled and a new one issued electronically. The
recipient is emailed a new ticket with a unique barcode via TicketFast® that can be printed using any standard printer.
PRINT YOUR TICKETS
Left your tickets at home? Were your tickets lost or stolen? You can simply print your season tickets from your My University of Florida Account and head to the game.
HOW IT WORKS
After logging in and selecting your desired game, you will be able to download, save, and print your TicketFast®
tickets on any standard printer. Once downloaded as a PDF file, these TicketFast tickets will be required for entry to the game. You cannot use other previously issued or printed tickets for this event.
WHAT IS THE FEE?
There is a $1.95 per ticket fee for emailing or printing your tickets using Ticket Forwarding.Ticket forwarding is an inexpensive alternative to other overnight delivery and courier services and provides a secure alternative method to ensure your tickets get used.
