SEC Tournament (Ole Miss)
No 10 M-Tennis Falls To No. 2 Ole Miss, 4-0, in SEC Semifinal

The third time failed to be the charm for the 10th-ranked UF men's tennis team (17-8, 8-5 SEC), who fell to the second-ranked Ole Miss Rebels, 4-0, in the SEC Championship semifinals on Saturday afternoon. The squad was defeated by Ole Miss two times prior this season.
The top-seeded Rebels proved to be challenging opponents from the very beginning. The No. 1-ranked doubles team of Jonas Berg and Bram ten Berge defeated Florida's Antoine Benneteau (Boulogne-Billancourt,France) and Joey Burkhardt (St. Augustine, Fla.), 8-3, on court one. Saturday marked the fourth match-up of the spring for these two teams, with the Rebels pair now owning a 3-1 advantage. Freshman Carlos Cueto (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain) and sophomore Alex Lacroix (Paris, France) dropped their second-consecutive match after falling to Kalle Norberg and Otto Sauer, 8-4, on court three.
With a 1-0 lead, the Rebels continued to roll through singles play. No. 37 Devin Britton defeated No. 30 Lacroix in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1 for a 2-0 lead. On court six, Marcel Thiemann downed sophomore Jeff Dadamo (Tampa, Fla.), 6-3, 6-4 to extend Ole Miss' advantage. Also earning a victory in straight sets was Otto Sauer, who defeated UF sophomore Johnny Hamui (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), 7-6, 6-3, to clinch the victory for Ole Miss.
