Men's Golf in 14th After Two Rounds at USCC

The UF men's golf team fell to 14th place on Monday at the United States Collegiate Championship in Atlanta after shooting 26-over par 314 in the second round. The conditions at the course were treacherous, as only one team shot under par.
The Gators have a two-day total of 610 (+34), their worst 36-hole score of the season.
Senior Billy Horschel (Grant, Fla.) and junior Tim McKenney (Scottsdale, Ariz.) turned in the best rounds for Florida on Monday, shooting five-over par 77. Horschel is tied for 17th with a 36-hole total of 147 (+3) heading into the final round and McKenney is tied for 47th at 153 (+9).
Junior Tyson Alexander (Gainesville, Fla.) and senior Toby Ragland (Jacksonville, Fla.) each finished at eight-over par 80 for round two. Alexander's total of 154 (+10) puts him into a tie for 51 heading into the final round and Ragland is in 71st at 158 (+14),
Stanford sits on top of the leader board with a three-over par score of 579 after two days. Alabama's Bud Cauley is the individual leader at five-under par 139 heading into Tuesday's final round.
Tee times will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday off No. 1 and No. 10 tees. Live scoring will be available online at www.GolfStat.com.
