Former Gator Clement, USA Advance To Finals of 4x400m

Former Florida standout Kerron Clement, the 2009 World Champion in the 400-meter hurdles, and the United States 4x400-meter relay on Saturday posted the fastest time in the preliminary round to advance to the finals of the event at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics at Berlin Germany.
Clement ran the second leg of the relay, which finished in a time of 3:01.40. The quartet also consisted of Lionel Larry, Bershawn Jackson and Angelo Taylor. The finals of the event take place on Sunday.
Current Florida senior Shara Proctor (The Valley, Anguila) will participate in the finals of the women's long jump on Sunday.
