No. 11/6 Gators to Host Annual Tom Jones Memorial; Distance Team Takes on Wake Forest Invitational

Florida’s final home meet will be free to the public, featuring top collegiate and world talent.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida Gators Track and Field is set to continue their outdoor season at the Tom Jones Memorial invitational, the Gators' final home meet, held at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville from April 16 through April 18. In addition, 15 athletes will make their way to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for the Wake Forest Invitational from April 16-17.
The Tom Jones Memorial Invitational is free to attend, and all seats are general admission. Along with Florida's entrants, the meet will feature athletes from 11 of the top-25 men's programs and 15 of the top-25 women's programs in the nation per USTFCCCA's rankings in the collegiate heats. The meet will also feature 14 Olympic Development events, featuring multiple Olympic and World championship athletes as well as notable Gator alumni.

The Gators will celebrate their senior athletes with senior day presentations, recognizing ten student athletes on Saturday at 11:15 a.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Gators wrapped up the 2026 Pepsi Florida Relays with 11 personal best performances and 10 additions to Florida's all time top-10 lists.
A new program record in the women's 4x400m relay came from Quincy Penn, Tyra Cox, Malia Campbell, and Sydney Sutton, where the 3:26.02 finish gave the Gators the fourth fastest time in the country for the 2026 outdoor season.
