Kei-Mahri Hanna Advances to 400m Hurdles Final at World Athletics U20 Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – After advancing out of the 400-meter hurdles first round on Thursday afternoon, incoming Gator Kei-Mahri Hanna earned an automatic qualifier to the finals following a strong performance on Saturday evening.
Hanna was off the blocks quickly in the semifinal's second section, establishing herself in the top-three through 100 meters. She managed to hold on to the third position, crossing the line at 57.55, .25 in front of fourth place to advance to Sunday's final round.
Hanna will line up for the 400-meter hurdles finale on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 4:30 p.m. ET, while Claire Stegall and Mohammed El Moussalit will compete in the men's and women's 1500 meters at 4:52 p.m. and 5:25 p.m. ET, respectively.
