Gator Baseball Announces Name The Student Section Contest

The Gator Baseball team is looking to the University of Florida student body for suggestions to name McKethan Stadium's student section. The student with the winning entry will receive a baseball autographed by Head Coach Kevin O'Sullivan, Nike gear and will have the opportunity to throw out the first pitch prior to a game during the 2010 season.
The naming process is open only to UF students with a valid UFID number. Entries will be accepted beginning Monday, January 11, through Friday, January 15, and submissions should be sent to promotions@gators.uaa.ufl.edu.
Entries will be reviewed by a committee and narrowed to final choices. Beginning at Noon on Tuesday, January 19, the entire Florida student body will have the opportunity to vote for the final winner at www.GatorZone.com/baseball. Voting will last until Friday, January 22, and the student section name will be announced on Monday, January 25. In the case of a duplicate entry, the first person to submit the name will be the contest winner.
