Walk-on kicker Brust to make debut in his hometown

With starting placekicker Caleb Sturgis (back injury) still not fully recovered and his replacement on kickoffs, walk-on Brandon Phillips, hurting his hip in the Mississippi State game, the Gators will turn to junior walk-on Zack Brust to handle kickoffs today against Georgia.
This is a big stage for Brust to come onto the scene. Brust is from Jacksonville and played in high school at Stanton College Prep.
While Brust will handle kickoffs, senior punter Chas Henry will continue to handle field-goal attemps.
Early in the week, Gators coach Urban Meyer sounded hopeful that Sturgis would be available for today's game against Georgia.
However, after Thursday's practice, Meyer declared Sturgis out, opening a chance for Brust to make his debut in his hometown.
