Lacroix's Run Ends in Semifinals at USTA/ITA National Indoor Tennis Championships

Florida senior Alexandre Lacroix (Paris, France) dropped his semifinal match Saturday versus Rhyne Williams of Tennessee 6-4, 6-4 at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. The SEC rivals have split their two meetings this fall with Lacroix coming out on top in a three-set thriller on Oct. 8 during the ITA All-American Championships.
Despite the defeat, Lacroix is 14-2 overall this fall, including a 10-1 mark against nationally ranked opponents, and a 4-1 record when facing top-25 competition.
