Head Coach Roland Thornqvist Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Roland Thornqvist met with the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Thornqvist shared his assessment of last week 7-0 victory over Troy and previews Monday's match against instate foe South Florida.
He then talked about the ITA National Team Indoor Championships that will be held Feb. 12-15 in Madison, Wis. Florida is the No. 7 seed in the round of 16 and will play No. 16 Michigan on Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
He also discussed and fielded questions about how this weekend's national tournament might be an indicator for this year's success, on the Gators' doubles pairings, on the junior experience of freshmen Lauren Embree and Allie Will helping them play on the road for the first time and on USF's program progressing.
