Women's Portion of 2010 SEC Meet to Air March 2 on ESPNU

A replay of the women's portion of the 2010 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships will air Tuesday, March 2, at 6 p.m. (ET) on ESPNU.
During the Feb. 17-20 trip in Athens at the conference meet, the sixth-ranked Gator swimming and diving squads received numerous awards, involving both coaches and players. Both the men's and women's teams earned second place at the 2010 league meet with solid finishes from both the swimming and diving student-athletes. Under the watch of the two coaches of the year, Gregg Troy for the men's swimmers and Donnie Craine for the women's divers, three Gator athletes received SEC Athlete of the Year honors. Gemma Spofforth (West Sussex, England) won the title SEC Women's Swimmer of the Year and Kara Salamone (Cooper City, Fla.) received the same accolade for SEC Women's Diver of the Year. Leading the men's team, Conor Dwyer (Winnetka, Ill.) was named the SEC Men's Swimmer of the Year.
