Head Coach Andy Jackson Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Andy Jackson addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

Coach Jackson provided his assessment of the team extending its SEC start to 4-0 with a pair of home wins over Auburn and Alabama last weekend, the Gators' best start in SEC play since 2005.

He then previewed this week's schedule, as the Gators face Florida State on Wednesday at 4 p.m. to make up their Feb. 24 rainout and then get back to their SEC schedule, hosting Mississippi State on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Coach Jackson also discussed and fielded questions about the Florida-Florida State rivalry, on the team's depth, on doubles play and on Alex Lacroix and Junior Bangoura being involved in clinching matches last week.
