Five Florida Swimmers and Divers to Participate in Spring Graduation

Five University of Florida swimmers and divers will be among a total of 52 Gator student-athletes who will be earning their degrees in commencement ceremonies throughout the weekend at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the UF campus. Florida senior student-athletes earning their degrees following the completion of the spring semester will additionally be honored at a graduation luncheon Saturday.
Florida's five spring graduates will join the four women's December graduates to tally nine total 2009-10 Gator grads.
Men's swimmers Bradley Ally (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), Eric Shrestha (Tallahassee, Fla.), Jos Smith (Milledgeville, Ga.), Rex Tullius (Port Orange, Fla.) and women's diver Rachel Sowers (Longwood, Fla.) will all walk in commencement ceremonies this weekend after each dedicating four years to the Florida swimming and diving program.
Combined, the men's quartet accumulated 31 All-America honors in their career with the Orange and Blue, led by 23 from the 2009 NCAA 200 IM Champion and Record Holder, Ally.
