GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida men's and women's swimming and diving programs placed 33 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday by League Commissioner Greg Sankey.

The 2026 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2025 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.

Academic Honor Roll Notes:

Florida's women's and men's swimming & diving programs placed 18 and 15, respectively on the list.
Three women turned in 4.0 grade point averages – senior Casey Greenberg, senior Camille DeBoer and redshirt sophomore Michaela Mattes.
Josh Liendo, winner of the 2026 NCAA 50 and 100 freestyle plus the 100 butterfly titles, shared the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Swimmer of the Year award.
Fifteen from Florida's swimming & diving teams earned 2026 All-America honors. Men: Eric Brown, Scotty Buff, Devin Dilger, Conor Gesing, Jesus Gonzalez, Josh Liendo, Gio Linscheer and Alexander Painter. Women: Anita Bottazzo, Julie Brousseau, Catie Choate, Lainy Kruger, Michaela Mattes, Camyla Monroy and JoJo Ramey.
Two Gator swimmers receive post-graduate scholarships from the SEC: Gio Linscheer - $5,000 as a nominee for the Brad Davis Community Service Award. Eric Brown - $10,000 as a nominee for the SEC's Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship.

To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
