Four Gators Named to PING All-Region Team

Seniors Tyson Alexander (Gainesville, Fla.) and Tim McKenney (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and juniors Andres Echavarria (Medellin, Colombia) and Bank Vongvanij (Bradenton, Fla.) were all named to the Division I PING All-Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Wednesday.
A total of 153 players across six regions - Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2010.
Both Alexander and McKenney were named to the All-Region team in 2009, but this is the first honor for Echavarria and Vongvanij. All four Gators are currently representing the Orange and Blue at the 2010 NCAA Championships in Ooltewah, N.C.
