Senior Florida distance runner Charlotte Browning (Pullborough, England) broke the UF school record in the women's 1,500-meter run earlier this month at the Folksam Grand Prix in Sweden.
Browning placed sixth overall in the race in a personal-record time of 4:12.40. That broke her previous personal-best time of 4:13.96, recorded en route to the Southeastern Conference 1,500-meter championship.
That broke Becki Wells' school record of 4:12.84, logged during the 1997 campaign.
During the 2010 campaign, Browning was the NCAA Champion in the women's mile (indoors) and the women's 1,500m run (outdoors).
