GatorVision will be on-site with exclusive coverage that will feature interviews after the uniforms have been revealed. Scott Carter, the new senior writer for GatorZone.com, will also catch up with former UF standout Errict Rhett, who will be representing the Gators at the event.
Rhett completed his career in 1993 with 4,163 rushing yards, the top total in school history and fifth-highest figure in the SEC record book. He caught 153 career passes, the top total at Florida for a running back and the fourth-best total on the Gators' all-time list. Rhett became the first player in NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision history to rush for over 4,100 yards and catch 140 or more passes.
A first-team All-America selection from Football News in 1993, he led the SEC in rushing twice, with 1,109 yards in 1991 and 1,289 yards in 1993, and earned first-team All-SEC accolades on both occasions. Rhett joined Emmitt Smith as the lone Florida players to gain 1,000 rushing yards in a season twice. A second-round NFL Draft choice by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1994, he was chosen as the 1994 NFC Offensive Rookie of the Year and enjoyed a seven-year pro career with Tampa Bay (1994-97), Baltimore (1998-99) and Cleveland (2000).
