Gators move up in both polls and other tidbits

Florida's 48-14 win over Kentucky on Saturday night was convincing enough that the Gators (4-0) moved up in each of the national polls.

In the USA Today Coaches Top 25, Florida moved up one spot from No. 8 to No. 7. Click here for the entire coaches poll.
The Gators travel to face No. 1-ranked Alabama (4-0) on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide escaped an Arkansas upset bid on Saturday, 24-20, to win for the 18th consecutive game.
As for the Gators, here are some leftover notes from their win over Kentucky:
--Gators head coach Urban Meyer improved to 100-18 as a head coach, becoming the sixth-fastest coach all-time to reach 100 career wins. Here is a look at the company Meyer is keeping:

--Speaking of winning streaks, the Gators have won 24 consecutive regular-season games and 16 consecutive SEC regular-season games.
--Gators freshman Trey Burton's six touchdowns on Saturday night fell one shy of matching San Diego State's Marshall Faulk's freshman record set in 1991 against Pacific.
--UF was 7-for-11 on third down and is now 15-of-25 (60%) on third-down conversions the last two games after being just 8-of-25 (33%) the first two games. UF was 4-for-4 on third downs in the second half.
--Omar Hunter blocked a Kentucky field-goal attempt in the fourth quarter on Saturday, UF's sixth blocked kick against the Wildcats under Urban Meyer.
