Federhofer and Slilam Capture Doubles Title of USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships

The doubles team of junior Billy Federhofer (North Miami, Fla.) and senior Nassim Slilam (Paris, France) captured the doubles title at the 2011 USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Georgia at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens.
Federhofer and Slilam, the No. 1-seeded doubles team in the event, earned an 8-4 win over Georgia's Wil Spencer and Garrett Brasseaux. With the win, the Gator duo advances to the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships, held at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., November 3-6.
Georgia Tech's Kevin King defeated UGA's Ignacio Taboada, 7-6 (5), 6-4, to win the singles title.
