
Four Gator Head Coaches Previewed Week with Media on Monday

The No. 12-ranked Gators (10-3, 3-1 SEC) continue their home stand this weekend when the team plays host to No. 20 Auburn on Friday at 7 p.m. and Alabama on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Friday?s contest is the Gators? fourth annual breast cancer awareness match and the first 400 fans receive pink ?Kicking for the Cure? t-shirts.
Last week Florida defeated SEC Eastern Division foes Vanderbilt (2-0) and Kentucky (3-0).

The men?s & women?s swimming and diving teams play host to the All-Florida Invitational, Oct. 7-9. This is the season-opening event for both squads, which finished fifth and seventh, respectively, at the 2010 NCAA Championships.
Several members of the 2011-12 teams had terrific summer performances in national and international competition. The men?s team has 30 returning letterwinners and the women have 26 from last season.
Roland Thornqvist, Women?s Tennis
The majority of the team will be in action this week competing at the 2011 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships held at the Riviera Tennis Center in Pacific Palisades, Calif. This national event includes the top singles and doubles players in the country and is considered the first leg of the collegiate Grand Slam.
The qualifying singles and doubles draws will be contested Oct. 4-5, with main draw action taking place Oct. 6-9.
Mary Wise, Volleyball
The No. 11 Gators (11-3, 4-1 SEC) play host to Arkansas on Friday at 7 p.m. and to LSU on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the O?Connell Center.
Florida is coming off a pair of SEC road sweeps, with the squad earning hard-fought wins at Auburn (26-24, 25-20, 25-23) and at Georgia (26-24, 25-15, 25-23).
