
Former Gator All-American Matt Every Earns PGA Tour Card

Former University of Florida All-American Matt Every (2002-06) earned his PGA Tour card over the weekend by virtue of finishing 18th on the Nationwide Tour's season money list. The top-25 money winners for the season earned full PGA Tour cards for the 2012 season.
Every, one of only five Gators to earn four All-American honors during a collegiate career, put together a solid season on the Nationwide Tour with four top-10s, including a runner-up finish at the Bogota Open. Every, who earned $229,066 to finish 18th on the Nationwide Tour money list, also competed in five PGA Tour events during the 2011 season making three cuts and earning $105,122.
Every will join the long list of Gators who have competed on the PGA Tour, a list that includes the likes of: Andy Bean, Mark Calcavecchia, Chris Couch, Chris DiMarco, Brian Gay, Dudley Hart, Billy Horschel, Andy North and Camilo Villegas.
