University of Florida head coach Andy Jackson addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Jackson provided his expectations as the 6-1 men's tennis team prepares for the ITA Team Indoor Championships in Seattle, Wash., beginning on Friday. The Gators reached the quarterfinals of last year's event.
On Saturday, Florida lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at No. 16 Illinois in the team's only competition of the week.
The Gators have a chance to reach a couple milestones at the event, as Alexandre Lacroix is two doubles wins from matching the UF career record of 93, while head coach Andy Jackson has 399 career wins as a men's tennis head coach (220 at Mississippi State, 179 at UF).
