Men's Track and Field Enters NCAA Meet Ranked No. 1

Entering the 2011 NCAA Indoor Championships, the University of Florida track and field team is ranked No. 1 in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national computer rankings, it was announced late Monday evening.
The national championships will be held this weekend, March 11-12 in College Station, Texas, and will be hosted by Texas A&M. Live coverage can be found on NCAA.com and ESPN3.com. ESPN2 will air tape-delayed coverage of the meet on Wednesday, March 16. This week's rankings reflect those who declared and were accepted into the national-championship field.
Florida is No. 1 in the latest poll, followed by No. 2 LSU and No. 3 Arkansas. Texas A&M (No. 4) and BYU (No. 5) round out this week's top-five. Four Southeastern Conference teams rank among the nation's top-25 this week, including No. 1 Florida, No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Arkansas and No. 21 Alabama.
