Coach Thornqvist Recapped the Excitement of Winning the SEC Title

University of Florida women's tennis head coach Roland Thornqvist met with the media on Monday, recapping last week's action when the Gators captured the Southeastern Conference regular-season title for the 25th time in the 32 years the league has sponsored the sport.

Last week the Gators handed Georgia and Tennessee their respective first league losses of the year and clinched at least a share of the SEC regular-season championship and secured the No. 1 seed in the 12-team SEC Tournament.
Florida (21-1, 10-0 SEC) plays host to South Carolina (12-8, 4-6 SEC) on Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m. (THIS IS A TIME CHANGE) and a win would give the Gators the SEC title outright.
