Florida Men's Golf Signs Eric Banks

The University of Florida men's golf team announced that Eric Banks (Truro, Canada) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Gators in 2011.
Banks was named to Team Canada's 2010 22-and-under Development Squad, which features only five male athletes.
“I am really excited about having Eric Banks,” said head coach Buddy Alexander. “He has a great golf swing and core fundamentals. He has a world of potential and will be a great addition to our program.”
The following are some of Banks' results from the past year:
- 1st Nova Scotia Junior Championship (Junior Team Member)
- 4th Nova Scotia Mens Amature (Willigdon cup team member)
-2nd Canadian Junior Boys Championship (-4)
-1st Canadian Junior Golf Association at Northumberland Links
-2nd CN Future Links Atlantic Championship
-2nd East Coast Junior Championship
