Gators host latest in-state foe; seek to keep perfect record intact vs. Bethune-Cookman

The fifth-ranked Gators (34-10) play their only home game this week when Bethune-Cookman comes to town on Tuesday night.
Florida last faced B-CU in the NCAA Gainesville Regional last June, winning 7-3 behind a strong outing from Hudson Randall in his NCAA postseason debut.

Florida is down to its final 12 games of the regular season and in a three-way tie for the SEC East lead with defending national champion South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
While the SEC is always tough, UF's in-state opponents have thrown a few punches the Gators' way this season. Half of the Gators' 10 losses are to in-state foes, something they want to avoid Tuesday against B-CU. UF is 24-0 all-time against the Wildcats.
The Gators are 9-5 overall against state schools -- 4-0 vs. USF, 1-0 vs. FAU, 1-3 vs. FSU, 3-0 vs. Miami and 0-2 vs. UCF.
They have three games remaining against state competition, starting with B-CU and followed by home games against UNF (May 11) and Jacksonville (May 17).
