Gators women's basketball coach Amanda Butler and assistant Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick spent Monday on the golf course instead of the basketball court.

They were at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., on Monday along with some of the biggest names in women's college basketball for a good cause: the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's Fourth 4Kay Golf Classic.
According to organizers, the event raised more than $140,000 for breast cancer research in 2010 and they hoped the event would raise more this year.
Yow was the longtime head coach at North Carolina State and coached one of her final games against the Gators.

“It's good to hear comments made about Kay,'' Susan Yow, Kay's sister, told WFMY-TV in Greensboro. “It keeps her alive, really. She impacted so many lives and it's amazing how many lives she really has impacted. It's just fun to be a part of it. It really is.”
