Gators make leap in polls after convincing win over FAU

The Gators' 41-3 throttling of Florida Atlantic in their first game with Will Muschamp as head coach earned them a boost in the polls.
Florida is ranked No. 18 in both the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll. Both polls were released on Tuesday afternoon.
Oklahoma remained atop both polls.
The Gators opened the season No. 22 in the AP Top 25 and No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Florida returns to the field on Saturday night at home against UAB.
