Gator Basketball and Pepsi Announce "Gator-Pepsi Talent Showdown"

Gator basketball has teamed up with Pepsi, Co. to announce the “Gator-Pepsi Talent Showdown.” Tryouts will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lemerand Gym located on the University of Florida campus.
The top six contenders from the preliminary round will be invited to perform during halftime at the men's basketball game on Feb. 2 vs. South Carolina and the women's Feb. 9 game against Auburn (three performers at each game) where the crowd will determine the winners.
Two grand prize winners will walk away with an X-Box 360 Kinect bundle with game and a $100 gift card to the Gator SportsShop. Second prize is an iPod, and the third-place finisher receives five cases of Pepsi product.
