The Gators officially announced on Wednesday that Pro Scout Day is scheduled March 13 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The event, a final opportunity for players not at the combine to work out in front of NFL scouts, is open to the public.
Thanks to UF's football office, here is a tentative list of players scheduled to work out that day:
QB John Brantley
DE William Green
DT Jaye Howard
DB Moses Jenkins
RB Chris Rainey
WR Deonte Thompson
OL Dan Wenger
DT Troy Epps (former player)
DT Lawrence Marsh (former player)
DB Dorian Munroe (former player)
DB Wondy Pierre-Louis (former player)
WR Justin Williams (former player)
Howard and Rainey are the only Gators who worked out for scouts at the combine in Indianapolis last week.
Rainey impressed scouts with his speed and versatility, finishing as the overall leader at the combine in the 60-yard shuttle (11.06 seconds), 20-yard shuttle (3.93 seconds) and three-cone drill (6.50 seconds).
Rainey told reporters afterward that he hopes to play in the NFL as a situational running back/receiver and on special teams.
“Special teams is my specialty and I love special teams,” Rainey said. “People don't understand about special teams. It's like 95 percent, if special teams is doing something, you win the game. I take special teams to heart because you win a lot of games when you're involved with special teams and that's what the NFL is looking for.”
Howard's athleticism for a defensive tackle -- he measured 6-1, 301 pounds at the combine -- is what makes him attractive to scouts.
He bench-pressed 225 pounds 24 times in Indy and his official time in the 40-yard dash was 4.82 seconds.
