Men's Tennis Continues Play at Three Oaks Shootout

The Florida men's tennis team continued play at the Three Oaks Shootout in Fort Myers, Fla., at the Barbara Manzo Tennis Center at Three Oaks Park. The Gators won two doubles matches and four singles matches on Saturday.
Stephane Piro, Bob van Overbeck and Gordon Watson all won in singles and doubles, while Florent Diep won his singles match. Billy Federhofer and Watson teamed up to be Georgia Tech's duo of Nathan Rakitt and Juan Melian, 8-2, while van Overbeck and Piro beat the Yellow Jacket's Garrett Gordon and Eduardo Segoura, 8-3.
Diep beat Illinois' Jared Hiltzik in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, and Piro beat Tim Kopinski, 6-4, 6-3. Van Overbeck won in three sets against Bruno Abdelnour, 7-6 (6), 4-6, 6-3, and Watson won 6-1, 6-3 over Brian Page.
Play will continue on Sunday and results will be posted online when available.
