
Young, Wilbekin Named to Media's Preseason All-SEC Team

Seniors Patric Young and Scottie Wilbekin have been named to the preseason All-SEC second team, as voted on by media members. In addition, the Gators were voted to finish second place in the conference for the 2013-14 season.
Last season, Young and Wilbekin were both named honorable mention All-SEC performers by the media. The Gators will be defending the SEC title this season after winning it for the second time in three years in 2013.
Points in team voting were compiled on a 14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis. Each media member also voted for a five-player All-SEC Team.
SEC Media Days take place Wednesday at Thursday in Birmingham, Ala., with UF head coach Billy Donovan and Young set to participate Thursday morning.
