Gators Women's Golf Aims to Adjust after a Tough Second Day at The Alamo

A windy day on Briggs Ranch Golf Course pushed the Florida women's golf team four strokes below their round-one performance, slipping to the sixth spot as a team after day two at The Alamo Invitational.
Leading the team for the second-consecutive round, junior Sarah Schober was the lone Gator to shoot under-par in round two of the Alamo (71), and remains high in the individual rankings at T2. She made three birdies on the day.
Both freshmen on the squad, Maria Torres and Karolina Vlckova, shot just one-over in day two. Redshirt sophomore Katie Mitchell shot three-over as junior Camilla Hedberg ended the day at seven-over.
The Gators enter their final round of The Alamo tomorrow with a shotgun start at 9:45 a.m. and are competing to end their fall season on a high note.
