Florida Cruises on Day One of Invitational
Gainesville, Fla. – The Gators went 15-1 overall on day one of the Florida Invitational Friday at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
Eight of nine Gators on this year's roster competed on opening day of the final home fall tournament of the season, playing two rounds of doubles and one round of singles. As a squad, the Gators dropped just one match in the doubles event, recording a near perfect performance to open the tournament.
Day two action commences Saturday at 10 a.m. starting with two rounds of doubles, followed by one round of singles.
