Head Coach Mike Holloway Previews 2014 SEC Indoor Championships With Media Monday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida track and field head coach Mike Holloway met with the media Monday to preview the 2014 SEC Indoor Championships. The No. 2 Gators head to College Station, Texas, for SECs Feb. 27-March 1 at Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium on the Texas A&M campus.
The Orange and Blue own six SEC Indoor Titles on the men's side ('75, '76, '87, '88, '04, '11) and seven on the women's side ('90,'92, '97, '02, '04, '10, '12).
“We're extremely excited about the upcoming SEC Indoor Championships,” Holloway previewed. “We compete in arguably the best conference in the country with world-class student-athletes and great coaches, which will make for an exciting three days of competition coming up at a great facility in College Station. All of the teams in our league have worked extremely hard throughout the season so far and I know the Gators are excited to get out on the track, compete when it matters most and represent the University of Florida with passion, pride and integrity.”
2014 SEC Indoors kick off Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. ET in College Station with the women's pentathlon and the first four events of the men's heptathlon, while track and field action continues Feb. 28 and March 1st with the 4x4 relays slated as the closing event to the conference championships Saturday at approximately 5:50 p.m. ET.

SEC Track and Field Highlight Show on ESPNU
The 2014 SEC Indoor Championships will air as part of a 90-minute show on ESPNU on Monday, March 10, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
