UNF Spring Break Invite Results
AUSTIN, Texas -- Gator men's jumper Marquis Dendy was back to his old ways Friday night as the junior claimed the Texas Relays long jump title (7.93m/26-0.25) to cap off a successful day of competition for the Orange and Blue at Mike A. Myers Track in Austin. In Raleigh, senior distance runner Agata Strausa turned in a nation-leading 5000m race (16:01.01), No. 3 in the UF record book, to highlight the day for the distance crew competing at the Raleigh Relays.
At the UNF Spring Break Invite in Jacksonville, three UF women's 100m hurdlers in Tyjah Eady (14.07, +2.06), Ashley Favors (14.45, +2.6) and Ryann McEnany (14.54, +2.8) advanced to Saturday finals in the race, slated for 12:15 p.m. ET.
The Gators advanced seven – two relays and five individuals – to Saturday finals in the sprint and hurdle events at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, while UF posted six top-10 record-book worthy performances on the third day of the event with a number of personal-best performances in both the track and field events. Of note, former Gator All-American and NCAA Champion Omar Craddock joined in on the fun at the Texas Relays by winning the Section A triple jump with the fourth-best jump in the world this year (16.98m/55-8.5) and a new PR performance.
The Gators go back to work in Austin Saturday, while the UNF Spring Break Invite and Raleigh Relays continue tomorrow as well. For updates on all the action, keep up with the Gators several different ways:

HOLLOWAY'S TAKE
“We were pleased with today overall. We were happy to see Marquis (Dendy) get back to being Marquis and we qualified well in the track events today in Texas. Very proud of Marija Vucenovic and all of our field athletes and I'm very pleased with the results from the Raleigh Relays and UNF. Agata (Strausa) had a big 5K there. We'll get rested tonight and get ready for tomorrow. The Texas Relays is a wonderful meet and an opportunity for our kids to go out there and have fun.”
