
Forty-eight Gator student-athletes participating in this weekend's commencement

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A total of 48 University of Florida student-athletes will participate in this weekend's commencement ceremonies in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

| 29 members of the 2014 spring graduate class were part of a national and/or Southeastern Conference championship team during their Gator careers. |
The Gators recognized as the top graduating student-athletes are volleyball's Chloe Mann and men's basketball's Patric Young, as Mann receives the Tracy Caulkins Award and Young is the Doug Belden Award recipient.
Men's tennis player Bob van Overbeek and distance runner Agata Strausa receive $7,500 post-graduate scholarships as Florida's nominees for the H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Award. Young, a 2014 Capital One Academic Men's Basketball All-American, receives a $5,000 scholarship as a 2014 Brad Davis SEC Community Service award nominee.
Van Overbeek is graduating summa cum laude and women's swimmer Jamie Bohunicky is graduating cum laude.
Four graduates were conference players of the year during their Gator careers: Lauren Embree (2010, 2012, 2013 SEC Women's Tennis Player of the Year), Chloe Mann (2012 SEC Volleyball Player of the Year), Taylor Unroe (2013 SEC Volleyball Libero of the Year) and Young (2014 SEC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year).
A total of 35 graduates earned Academic All-Southeastern Conference honors during their Florida careers.
