ITA 2014 Men's Doubles Final Draw
Junior Gordon Watson nabbed the singles crown as he defeated a fellow Gator, sophomore Oliver Landert, en route to the 2-6, 6-0, 10-5 tie breaker victory.
UF freshman Chase-Perez Blanco and sophomore Josh Wardell took down Landert and Watson in the men's doubles final, 6-3.
Shelton's Notes:
Head coach Bryan Shelton -- "It was good to see our guys compete this week. It was a tough format and there was a lot of tennis played. I was pleased to see our guys tough it out and win two titles in this heat. The best teams in the country play the most tournaments in the summer months. Our guys know they have one more month to prepare before school starts. I can't wait! I'd also like to thank coach Dave Balogh for running a great event."
