
Matt Bonner Named to 2015 Class of UF Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees

Matt Bonner has been named to the 2015 induction class of the UF Athletic Hall of Fame, joining six other Gator Greats in other sports. The induction will take place in April 2015.
Bonner was a three-time Academic All-American and three-time All-SEC honoree in addition to playing on the 2000 and 2001 SEC champion teams, which included 2000's Final Four run.
Ranking 10th all-time in UF history with 1,570 points scored, Bonner has gone on to win two NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs during his 10-year pro career.
Bonner will be honored along with Camilo Benedetti (Men's Golf), Beth Farmer (Women's Track/Cross Country), Nicole McCray (Volleyball), Candice Scott (Women's Track & Field), Camilo Villegas (Men's Golf) and Stephanie Zunich Donley (Women's Swimming & Diving).
He is the 29th men's basketball player to be inducted into the UF Athletic Hall of Fame, including multi-sport athletes
