LAST TIME OUT FOR THE GATORS
The No. 1/2 Florida track and field team continued to show what it's capable of last weekend at the Razorback Invitational, where the squad had a number of personal-best performances and several NCAA and world-leading marks in Fayetteville to continue the success of the indoor campaign thus far. Gators' junior quartermiler Najee Glass turned in a PR, NCAA and World-leading mark with his 400m victory (45.34) to pick up USTFCCCA Division I Men's National Athlete of the Week honors, while junior sprinter Kyra Jefferson debuted 2015 with a NCAA and world-leading 23.06. Senior jumper Marquis Dendy swept the jumps in Fayetteville with his best mark in two years in the long jump (8.02m/26-3.75) to top the NCAA so far in 2015. In addition to Dendy, Glass and Jefferson, senior Bridgette Owens (8.10) leads the country in the 60mH and the Gator women's 4x400-meter relay (3:29.58) still tops the NCAA qualifying list through the first three weeks of the spring season
