
Gators Holding Senior Day During Saturday's Game Against Villanova

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – As part of the jam-packed Orange & Blue Weekend at Florida, the No. 8 Gators will hold their Senior Day on Saturday when they host Villanova at 1 p.m. at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
Three seniors, Nora Barry, Shannon Gilroy, and Mikki Offit will be honored for their contributions to the Florida lacrosse program.
On the field, UF (10-4, 4-0 BIG EAST) looks to remain undefeated in conference play and faces Villanova (7-5, 2-1 BIG EAST) for the first time in program history.
Florida is coming off a 16-5 victory at Marquette on Wednesday and is in the middle of a season-ending stretch of five games in 14 days.

- UF is 25-5 all-time against conference competition during the regular season and has won 13-straight regular-season conference games
- In four BIG EAST games, the Orange & Blue have outscored their opponents, 70-22, and have not allowed more than five goals in a game over the last three contests

- In four BIG EAST games, Gilroy has registered 27 points, 20 goals and seven assists, and has tallied at least five points in such games
- Gilroy earned her seventh weekly BIG EAST honor this past week after being named the conference's Midfielder of the Week
- Junior Mary-Sean Wilcox has stopped 16 shots over the last two games, including tying a season-high with nine against Marquette
- Through 14 games, Wilcox has recorded a career-high 83 saves and her .432 save percentage ranks fourth in the BIG EAST among goalies with at least 50 saves
- Florida ranks No. 8 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Poll and No. 9 in the Media Poll
