
Time Change: No. 6 Florida vs. No. 3 Mississippi State Moved Up

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Friday's SEC Men's Tennis Tournament matches have been moved up to start at 10 a.m. ET and 12 p.m. ET. No. 6 seed Florida and No. 3 Mississippi State will begin promptly at 10 a.m. - that includes the match featuring No. 6 seed Florida and No. 3 Mississippi State that will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
With the forecast for inclement weather on Friday, the decision was made to move up the start of the contests in order to better facilitate completion of the matches before the courts become unplayable.
Florida leads the all-time series with Mississippi State, 34-17, and downed the Bulldogs 4-1 in Gainesville earlier this season. For a complete recap of that match, click here. With today's win, Florida is now 32-18 at the SEC Tournament since team play was initiated in 1990. UF is 3-2 all-time against Mississippi State at the SEC Tourney.
Either the Gators or Bulldogs will play the winner of No. 2 seed Texas A&M and No. 7 LSU in the semifinals. That match is scheduled to be played on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
