
Gators Make First Stop of Final Regular-Season Road Trip at Kentucky

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Hitting the road for one last time this regular season, the No. 6 Florida Gators will visit No. 20 Kentucky on Friday, April 3 for a 5 p.m. match at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex in Lexington, Ky.
The Gators lead the all-time series with the Wildcats, 38-2. Both of the Gators' losses to the Wildcats occurred in Lexington.
With Saturday's home win over South Carolina, 4-0, Florida improved to 9-0 in the SEC and remains the only undefeated squad in conference play.
Junior Brianna Morgan clinched her team-leading sixth match for the Gators in Saturday's contest with the Gamecocks. Freshmen Brooke Austin and Peggy Porter contributed singles points to the victory, while Porter and doubles teammate, fellow rookie Josie Kuhlman, secured the doubles point for UF. Florida improved to 13-0 when taking the doubles tally.
Last Time:
Florida concluded the 2014 regular season with a 4-1 win versus Kentucky. Brianna Morgan and Belinda Woolcock posted singles points in the victory.
Florida vs. SEC Teams:
Florida holds a 436-29 all-time record against Southeastern Conference opponents including postseason matchups, and a 369-19 mark in regular-season matches (9-0 this season).
Tough to Beat:
The Gators remain the only undefeated team in Southeastern Conference action. Florida is riding a twelve-match winning streak and has taken down its last eight opponents by a combined score of 41-7.
Second-Year Success:
Sophomore Kourtney Keegan is riding a nine-match winning streak in singles, the longest active streak by a Gator, and has not dropped a set in nine matches.
Big Stage Bri:
Junior Brianna Morgan has clinched a team-leading six matches for the Gators.
Going the Distance in Doubles:
The Gators are 13-0 in dual matches when winning the doubles point. Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan have dropped just one doubles match this dual season and are undefeated in SEC doubles.
