OMAHA, Neb. – Virginia advanced to the 2015 CWS Finals with a 5-4 victory over No. 4 Florida on Saturday night at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. The Cavaliers will face defending national champion Vanderbilt in a best-of-three series that begins on Monday night.

Postgame Notes:
- Florida's total of 52 victories ranks second in school history, as the 2011 squad was 53-19.
- Dane Dunning made his first career NCAA Tourney start for the Gators and his first start since May 20 in the SEC Tourney against Arkansas.
- The Gators boast the top-five longest homers in TD Ameritrade Park Omaha history, while Peter Alonso occupies No. 1 (429 feet tonight vs. Virginia) and No. 2 (421 feet on Wednesday vs. Miami).
- The six homers hit by Florida during the CWS are the most in TD Ameritrade Park Omaha history and UF's total is highest in the CWS since TCU had nine in 2010 (the final season at Rosenblatt Stadium).
- Harrison Bader snapped a 2-2 tie with a solo shot with one down in the fifth. He now has five homers in his last 11 games of the postseason.
- Bader went 4-for-5 out of the leadoff spot tonight, with a homer and a stolen base, and was 8-for-23 (.348) in UF's five games in Omaha.
- Mike Rivera was 2-for-4 and had tied the game in the sixth on a RBI single.
- Rivera led Orange and Blue in Omaha by going 7-for-18 (.389) and he tallied four RBI.
- Both of the Gators' losses at the CWS were to Virginia by a run (1-0 on Monday, 5-4 on Saturday).
- Florida finished with a 12-3 record in the postseason.
- JJ Schwarz batted .333 (6-for-18) during the CWS and was 28-for-57 (.491) with 23 runs and 19 RBI during the posteason.
