
J.D. Tomlinson Named PING Honorable Mention All-American

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – University of Florida men's golfer J.D. Tomlinson closed his Gator career by earning PING Honorable Mention All-American honors, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Thursday.
The accolade came about a month after Tomlinson was selected for the PING All-Southeast Region Team. The senior owned Florida's best stroke average, 71.90, and shot 25 rounds at or under par during the 2014-15 season. He was the only Gator to compete in each of the squad's 13 tournaments.
Tomlinson collected 10 top-25 finishes during the year, highlighted by three top-five performances. A member of the Second Team All-SEC lineup, he tied for 11th at the SEC Championship and tied for 13th at the NCAA Regional Championship.
